Current Status

Hello! I am a Front End Web Developer based in South Africa. Here, you can see my skills, experience, and projects I have worked on.

I am also working a bit on my own project and experimenting with some of the latest front end tools/frameworks.

Web development experience

10+ years of Front End Web Development and Drupal theming.

I am an Acquia Certified Drupal Front End Specialist in Drupal 8 and Drupal 9.

Throughout the years I have learned a lot working on a variety of different roles within Drupal theming and web development. I have been responsible for reviewing code, mentoring developers, deploying releases, and making suggestions and implementing solutions for complex issues.

I have a good eye for design and making sure that core web vitals have been considered. I have experience in accessibility principles as well as general semantics and hierarchical principles within web development.

Experience with Adobe Suite products, PhotoShop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator. Music production with Logic Pro X.

Education

• 2009 - 2012: University of Bath BSc (Hons) Physics 2:1

  During the course of this degree I learnt a lot about the nature of science as a whole and how knowledge in the discipline of science and maths is something that can be used to better ourselves and help people.

  Dissertation/Final Year Project Subject: Underwater Acoustics. Title: Investigating Noise and Underwater Acoustics in the Deep Sea.

  In this project we went through all the steps for analysing raw data with our own algorithms using MATLAB and other software packages. I learnt the importance of testing, debugging and analysing.
